How to activate student’s UMPASS account?

Every student of  the university has an UMPASS account for accessing services in campus. Students must activate their UMPASS account before accessing any services that requires authentication. For the new incoming students, they will get their User ID and receive the activation code from Registry or Graduate School.

After students get their activation codes, they can proceed account activation as below steps:

1. Visit Account Activation Page at https://activation.icto.um.edu.mo.
2. Enter the user ID (first 7 characters of the Student Number), activation code, date of birth and the last four characters of the ID/Password number.
3. Read and accept policies about services in campus.
4. Check if the contact number and email registered in system need to update or not. With valid and reachable contact registered,  reset password or unlock account can by done by the users in the future.
5. If a user need to update the contact information, enter the new contact and click “send code” to get a verification code. Enter the verification code and click “verify” to validate the new contact.
6. After verification of the new contact passed, setup a password for the account. Please read the tips we provided for choosing a secure password.
7. The account will be activated after setting password successfully.
