What is the Calendar feature in the UM App?

The Calendar in the UM App is designed to help students and staff easily access the UM Almanac, Tuition Fees Payment Dates, and Public Holidays.

Calendar Features:

  • Sorting: this feature allows users to arrange calendar categories, such as Tuition Fees Payment Dates and UM Almanac entries, in their preferred order.
  • Filtering: this feature allows users to choose which categories to display or hide, making it easier to focus on the most relevant information.

How to use these features:

  1. Open the UM App and tap the Calendar icon.
  2. Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Press the Add icon to include the categories to the top for ordering.
  4. In the custom order section, long-press a category to move it up or down.
  5. Use the Toggle icon to show or hide specific categories. (Note: The Public Holidays cannot be hidden.)
  6. Tap Save in the upper right corner to store the settings.
