1. Login to your Gmail account, click [gear icon] in the top right and then select [Settings]

2. Click the [Accounts and Import] tab

3. In the [Send mail as] section, click [Add another email address]

4. Enter your Name and Your UM@Connect email address, select [Treat as an alias] checkbox then click [Next Step >>]

Send as Alias

4. Enter your Name and Your UM@Connect Alias email address, select [Treat as an alias] checkbox then click [Next Step >>]

 

5. Enter below information:

  • SMTP Server: outlook-apaccentral.office365.com
  • Username: Your UMPass account in the format of  [Student ID]@um.edu.mo
  • Password: Your UMPass password
  • Port: 25
  • Select [Secured connection using TLS (recommended)] option
  • Click [Add Account >>]

6. Login to your UM@Connect account and check for your confirmation code. Enter your confirmation code into the text box and click [Verify]

Now you can send mail as UM@Connect account or alias in Gmail.
