What can I do if my file reach the upload limit in UMMoodle?

By default, the maximum upload size of a file is 200MB in a UMMoodle course. Teachers can set the upload limit for course activities, such as Assignment and Forum, individually depending on their needs.

If your file is too large to be uploaded, please check the file size first and you could:

1. Compress the file or split it into several pieces before uploading them. For video file, you can use Handbrake to compress the video, with the “Presets: Fast 576p or 480p” setting. For others file type, you can use 7zip to compress or split the file.
2. Contact your instructor to increase the upload limit of the course activity which you need to upload. If your file exceeds 200MB and it size cannot be decreased, please advise your instructor to contact us.
