No, it is not necessary to provide your phone number during registration. We provide “Push” response and “passcode” (One-time) authentication methods which generated by the “Duo Mobile” application without requiring your phone number.
Can I opt-out DUO after my 2FA account activation?
Since password shall be changed every 90 days or 2FA shall be enabled for protection, if you decide to turn off the 2FA service, please change your password once and contact ICTO Help Desk (email: icto.helpdesk@um.edu.mo) for turn off 2FA.
