How do I connect to other UM resources such as Lotus Notes using SSL VPN?

Please follow the steps:

  • Step 1: Please make sure you have already installed Java Runtime Environment (JRE), you can download the latest JRE from here;
  • Step 2: Use your UMPASS account to login SSL VPN;
  • Step 3: The browser will prompt you to install a plug-in, “Pulse Secure App Launcher“, which is used for updating Ivanti Secure Access;
  • Step 4: Click the “Start” icon in the right hand side of “Client Application Sessions” tool bar to start Ivanti Secure Access;

    *If any problem occurs during installation, you can also download and install the client here manually:

  • Step 5: Upon completion of installation, please wait until a new icon of Ivanti Secure Access appears and with green arrow pointing up (means connected) in the System Tray;
  • Step 6: Connect to other UM resources as if you are at UM Campus.
